Instead of the usual meeting where topics about Bosch's business partnership with its Premium Dealers are being presented, this year was totally different from the usual. Bosch invited experts on Family Succession Planning from the Ateneo de Manila University's Family Business Development Center (AFBD) to talk about the need to prepare the business of its partners to the future.
The initial talk was given by Mr. Ricardo Mercado, a lecturer and the director-founder of the AFBDC where he discussed the basics as to why it was important for businesses to think of succession planning not only when the need arises.
The 2nd part of the talk on Succession Planning was a talk given by Ms. Marijo Caronongan, who is also a lecturer of the John Gokongwei School of Management of the Ateneo de Manila University and likewise a consultant and the Human Resource Cluster head of the AFBDC. She talked about topics in professionalizing family-owned businesses.
It was also was a good guide to the "young business founders" in the group to start thinking of Family Succession Planning in growing and sustaining their existing businesses.
The same event was also made special with the participation of Bosch AA's Marketing Director for Asia Pacific Southeast, Marcio Coelho who did not only come to give a short talk on the future of mobility but to mingle and meet the members of the elite Premium Club members of Bosch Philippines.
The day-long event was exclusively organized for Bosch AA's Premium Club Members that consist of Top One (Platinum) and Top Two (Gold) business partners.
