The VE injection pump has been developed to match any diesel engine in a wide variety of applications, ranging from small and medium commercial vehicles to passenger cars.

VE pumps are both smaller and capable of higher speed operation than conventional inline injection pumps.

  1. It was designed to be compact and lightweight.
  2. Engine starting is easy since there is an automatic excessive fuel supply mechanism with the starting spring.
  3. High engine revolution is available up to 6,000rpm.
  4. Engine torque control is easy.
  5. Reverse running is prevented.
  6. Independent control mechanism is applicable such as adaptor spring, load timer and boost compensator.
  7. Fuel supply can be cut off with the ignition switch.

This is a small pump. It is composed of a single plunger which distributes fuel to all engine cylinders.

In comparison with the PE type, the VE type injection pump has less than half the number of component parts, and was developed in order to satisfy the need for a small, lightweight and high-speed injection pump.
